Originally owned by the noble Brigola family it was later acquired by the Resta Pallavicino family. along with some other property and lands.<\/p>\n<p>During fascism, its courtyard housed the <b>Casa del Fascio<\/b>. There, people were interrogated and sometimes brutally tortured.<\/p>\n<p>Across the street stands the <b>Church of San Giuseppe<\/b>, originally built as a private chapel for a priest son of the Brigola family who, due to his poor health, could not travel too far to carry out his religious duties.<\/p>\n<p>With the property transfer from the Brigola family to the <b>Resta Pallavicino<\/b> family, the church was later donated to the <b>Parish of Trecella <\/b>along with the urn of <b>Saint Innocenzo<\/b>, which it had briefly housed.<\/p>\n<p>The <b>Church of San Giuseppe<\/b> is now deconsecrated and stripped of its furnishings, including the altar. It sheltered evacuees from Milan during <b>World War II<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>In <b>1975<\/b>, during the celebrations for the <b>jubilee year<\/b>, the church was restored externally. In the following years, it was used for civil purposes. It is not open to visitors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Next to <b>Palazzo Brigola<\/b>, opposite the Church of San Giuseppe, the entrance lintel of an old courtyard still bears a votive image of <b>Saint
